Scrapbook album commemorating a reunion of Calvin Group alumni on February 3, 1989 in San Francsico, California. Album contains
photographs which were exhibited at reunion, accompanied by transcripts of presentations and other dialogue; correspondence
and other records documenting the organization of the reunion; and other ephemera related to the event and the history of
the group. Among those depicted in photographs are various group members and associates, including Melvin Calvin, Andrew Benson,
Bert Tolbert, Richard Lemmon, Kazuo Shibata, Clint Fuller, Al Bassham, Ning Pon, Melvin Look, Vivan Moses and Ozzie Holm-Hansen.
Many photographs taken at the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory on the University of California, Berkeley campus and in the Sierra-Nevada
mountains.

Melvin Calvin was Professor of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley and organizer of the Bio-Organic Chemistry
Group -- aka the Calvin Group -- at the Ernest O. Lawrence Radiation Laboratory. Professor Calvin received the Nobel Prize
in Chemistry in 1961 for identifying the path of carbon in photosynthesis.
